Clinical Nutrition is the practice of assessing an individual’s daily nutritional intake and seeing where it may be improved; where it may be adjusted to compensate for underlying conditions.
Nutritional intake varies with an individual’s activity level, specific genetic makeup, as well as with any disease or condition that may be occurring within the body. Foods are often categorized into “healthy” and “non-healthy” foods, but the reality is that what is “healthy” really varies between individuals. At TriPoint Health we work with you to determine the best way for you to eat and help you to get the most benefit from the foods you are eating.
Vitamin and Supplement Therapy

Vitamin and supplement therapy often goes hand-in-hand with Clinical Nutrition. Sometimes your nutritional intake isn’t providing adequate amounts of certain vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients. Other times vitamins and supplements may be used as treatments for certain conditions at doses much higher than would be suggested for daily recommend intakes. When used as such, vitamins and supplements are known as nutraceuticals. By determining where you may be lacking and supplementing with the right compounds, at the proper dose, vitamin and supplement therapy can fill in the gaps and help you move forward in your healing journey.
