They sit beside diffusers\, appear in skin-care products and fill store shelves. But there is a considerable difference between having essential oils and understanding how to use them.\nWe have both taught aromatherapy for more than 35 years and have spent much of our lives working with aromatic plants and essential oils. \nThis workshop gives us a way to share with you- how essential oils are produced\, how they work\, how they can be used\, and the safety principles everyone should know before working with them. \nAnd then we meet the 12 essential oils\, smell their aromas\, personalities\, properties and practical uses.  \nThe goal is to leave with a sound foundation: enough understanding to choose essential oils thoughtfully\, use them safely and begin developing a relationship with the aromatic plants themselves.
